9 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Hi Everyone-

Hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas season.

I baked some cookies today (chocolate chip & oatmeal raisin) had a few and Pete said they are great.

It is 10:50 on Friday night the 13th of December, I am waiting for our daughter Aly to arrive, with her little cat Clark.

She left LA this morning so its been a long day for her.

She will be in NY for a few weeks so we will get to be with her for a while.

It’s always so good to have your family home for the holidays.

Kristin & Jenny should be arriving on the 23rd of December and stay a few days with us.

I always love having my girls around – they always make me happy.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

God Bless

Much Love – Rose

Condo Living

Well it’s finally happened – we are living in a condo now.  Pete and I both love it.  It’s not you typical condo – it’s just beautiful –

We moved here 5 years ago and it did take a little time to get use to it, but I can honestly say “IT’S HOME”-

Good things about living in a condo –

1)- You have no outside jobs anymore

2)- If you are lucky enough you will like your neighbors (we love ours)

3)- Because you get along so well with your neighbors they become like family to you.

4)- No more shoveling (which Pete is sad about, so he goes around shoveling out cars and helping neighbors)

5)- There is an excercise room right in your own back yard – not to mention a beautiful club house – pool – beautiful deck –

6)- The condo takes care of all the outside flowers as well –

7)- Speaking of flowers, I spend half the amount of money every year now.

I could go on and on but this is just a few pluses to owning a condo – especially when you are 55+

That being said I would love to share with you some pictures of our Home.

After the Wedding ~

Kristin and Jenny’s Wedding

Good Morning-

It’s 8:30 am… I am reflecting back on our daughter’s wedding day.

It started with a BIG lump in my stomach, (of excitment) – Pete and I had breakfast with friends & family (which was fantastic)

We headed to Kristin & Jenny’s to pick up flowers, favors, runners, utencils and everything else that will make this day beautiful.  We stayed for 2 hours helping set up for their special day.

Returned back to the hotel to get ready for this special event.  I could not compose myself – the anticipation was overwhelming –

We are ready to go – picked up Aly (Kristin’s sister & maid of honor) from her room – she looked beautiful, and headed for the reception.

Oh just so you know Pete (my wonderful husband) looked so handsome.  What a great husband he is, and such a fantastic dad..

We arrive at the reception – everything looked majical  – (My little girl is getting married) it didn’t make sence, but when we saw her it hit me, she looked so beautiful this is truly her day, her wedding day.  She is marrying  her best friend Jenny, they look so calm, so beautiful, & so HAPPY…

The ceremony was beautiful – every word of their vows, so loving, so tender, so Kristin & Jenny…

The party after was so much fun – everyone had a wonderful time. The band was fantastic, the food was spectacular.

The father of the bride speech was loving & heartfelt, and Alyson’s speech brought the house down.  She was amazing…  Something we will remember forever.

It was so amazing spending time with family & friends.  Making new friends seemed so special.  These are the moments you take with you for the rest of your life…

I love you both so very much, God continue to bless and guide you thoughout your lives –

Much love

Rose

Their story begins

Good Morning-

I’m back again but this time I have a couple of pictures for you all.

We have 2-1/2 weeks before Kristin & Jenny’s wedding, and guess what I am still doing…you guessed it still making the napkins (only 30 to go) –

I did finish the runner and it looks beautiful. See above

The napkins, runner for the BIG tables, napkins all ready to go and the cute little favors……..

We are getting very excited for this beautiful event to finally happen.  It’s lots of planning, lots of love, and lots of patience.

We are beginning to make final arrangements for our 2nd daughter to arrive from California.

She is Kristin’s maid of honor, and I know she is very excited to be part of this joyous occation.

Below you will see the runner I made for the buffett table –

Well see you all in a few days – more picture to come.

Much love,
Rose
