Hi Everyone ~
I was looking at the 2 cutting boards I have on my counter, and wanted to make them look a little more rustic.
I began by putting the jute on the inside of the handle of the cutting board. Then just continued to wrap the jute around the top of the handle.
I use a big enough piece of jute, but when you wrap it around & around you run out pretty quickly.
No need to worry you just cut another piece and butt them up to each other and continue to wrap.
They came out so cute – just a bit of rustic in the kitchen now.

You can see step by step as I went along.
Cutting board before I got started
Started putting the jute on the handle.
Keep wrapping – when you get to the end of the jute “DON’T WORRY”
Butt both pieces together and continue to wrap.
When you get to the end tuck the end piece into the back of the handle and continue with one more wrapping.
Finished product
Against the back splash.
I think they look so sweet against the subway tile.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day.
Much love,
Rose
