Good morning friends ~

We are well on our way to completing the entryway.  Pete has painted the walls and the front door. 

This is right after he finished painting the front door.  It was white, and I just love the color and warmth that the door is now.

The next few pictures will be of the one wall which is completed.

I purchased the tiny window box on Etsy.

We attached the window box directly to the window.  I added the faux flowers and the garland around the window.

The garland was purchased at a little craft store local.

The black bench was purchased several years ago at Wayfair.

Hi Friends ~

Pete & I have decided to redo the entryway to our condo.

It is long overdue – The rug is old and the walls are in dyer need of a paint brush.

I found this on Pinterest ~ and it looks like it could be our entryway.

Pete will be building it.  Great place to hang your coat when entering our home, and the shelf will be great for displaying seasonal treasures.

One difference will be ~ no bench under the shelf and hooks  – there will be a seat across from this.

What I love about this space.

1-) The coziness of the space

3-) The built in bookcase

4-) The plank ceiling

The large windows bringing the light in, and the beams on the ceiling.

The dough bowl on the coffee table.

Good morning friends ~

I know it’s been a very long time since I have posted anything.

I have had lots of personal things happening in my life, but hope to be back now.

So this seems to be where my eye goes it’s called “Modern Farmhouse”  WHO KNEW

I will be taking a look at this through Pinterest and sharing it with you.

First up is the kitchen – of course what else would it be…..

What I like about this picture:

1. The white cabinets
2. The hardwood floors
3. The dining space next to the kitchen
4. The touches of blue
5. The huge window

 

This is a great accessory for Modern Farmhouse.

I do bake quite often and having glass canisters are perfect, and they look clean and tidy.

 

 What I like about this pantry:

1. The pull out draws
2. The open shelving ~ you can see everything, this is especially good for me since I do tend to purchase things I already have.
3. Space to put larger appliances ~
4. I believe the door to the pantry is glass – I like that.

 

I love the coziness of this room.

 

The kitchen table and chairs are beautiful.

The dough bowl is perfect for Modern Farmhouse –  you can change it out seasonally

This picture reminds me of my Grandma kitchen – I love it.

Tis the season for all merry & holly jolly, but sometimes we are not so merry and jolly are we.  So much to do, so much preparation for that special Christmas day.

We all have special feelings for Christmas weather it be holly jolly or not so holly jolly & merry.

There is so much going on in the world these day,   I wish it could all be perfect, but we do NOT live in a perfect world.

So that being said, when Christmas Day comes to your home remember to wish Little Baby Jesus a Happy Birthday & thank Him for everything He has given you.

And you know what – The world will be a better place just by saying Thank you.

Good morning to you all ~

I saw this on Pinterest and thought I could do that.   Went to Michael’s and purchase a few things I needed to make this beautiful wreath.   My version is a bit different.  I hope you like what I have created.

The inspiration was the ribbon – I love the color and, found a flower similar to that shade of rose.

I love the end result.
