I love blue & white, and I adore blue & white toile.
In the next few pictures I want to share some of my favorites ~
When wanting to make curtains, pillows, bedspreads, you start with fabric. I have a lot of blue & white in our home. To me it’s so soothing to the eye.
I collect pitchers all sizes ~ I guess we all have something ~ mind is pitchers ~ I love the softness of this one and that tiny little cup.
You can purchase HERE
I love this. The simplicity of the white hydrangea against the blue & white. Just beautiful. If you are smitten with these pictures go to ~

Love these dishes ~ I purchased cream stoneware in January, and putting different smaller plates on top of the plain cream stoneware makes the setting look so beautiful

Have a great day.
Hi Friends ~
As my last post said I am a HUGH fan of Country French Design.
As promised here are some beautiful bedrooms I wanted to share with you all.
This headboard is beautiful and I do think useful. I was going to do this in our MB, but at the last minute I switched to a wrought iron headboard. Sometimes I wish I had this one. I’m thinking sitting up in bed would be wonderful with this headboard.

Have a wonderful evening.
Good Morning Friends ~
My sister is redoing her 1/2 bath and asked if I had any ideas for Rustic Chic.
I went on Pinterest and came up with these 4 ideas for her.
Here you go ~ hope your like them ~
What I like about these bathrooms ~
The vanity is a table – very rustic, but the chic is the softness of the flowers ~ the porcelain sink & the softness of the towels.
I love the dark ship lap and the lightness of the vanity.
This one is just the opposite ~
The light ship lap makes it softer ~ I have to say this is my favorite.
The ladder ~ the mirror ~ the space under the vanity ~
It totally says “Rustic Chic”
This is also another classic for “Rustic Chic”
You can see the softness in the mirror and the flowers.
The Rustic is the vanity ~ so pretty.
I hope you enjoyed this post.
It was real fun for me.
For more Rustic Chic go HERE
Have a wonderful day.
Good Afternoon my friends ~
Today is perfect for having fun on the internet.
As I wandered through HOUZZ & Pinterest I came across many pictures I saved under Country French.
I guess you can say this is my style. I love country and I also love the look of lace & linens. I love blue, creams, & white. I also love red.
These are the colors in our home.
I found some pictures of Country French & what I love about them.
The first picture ~
The blue and white. The open hutch reminds me of my grandmother’s open hutch she had in her kitchen.
The sweet blue & white gingham seat covers.
The blue & white pottery on the wall.
The white cabinets and the softness of the room. I also love the cream & blue check around the piece over the island.
The white cabinets and the softness of the room. And that sink WOW…

Next time images of Country French Bedrooms.
Have a wonderful day.
Hi Friends ~
I hope you are all enjoying your 4th of July ~ Independence Day
One of my most favorite sayings ~
Be safe and enjoy your freedom…..
In addition to promoting literacy, Teresa taught the children basic hygiene. She visited their families, inquiring about their needs and helping provide for them when she could.
Word began to spread about Mother Teresa’s good works, and soon she had other volunteers wanting to help. By 1950 she was able to start the Mission of Charity – a congregation dedicated to caring for “the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers, all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone.”
She went on to open a hospice for the poor, a home for sufferers of leprosy, and a home for orphans and homeless youths.
A symbol of varied meanings, the single white rose has long signified the purity between lovers who exchange the flower or the purity and innocence of the soul or person receiving it. Contrary to the passion associated with a single red rose, a single white rose acknowledges everlasting love, honor and respect, especially when given to a person of authority or esteem or when used as part of a celebration or event.
Their pure color conveys respect, pays homage to new starts and expresses hope for the future. Historically, the white rose symbolized innocence and purity.
How perfect for this white rose to be a symbol for Mother Teresa.
She was respected by so many, and always had so much hope for our future.
AND……. for the innocence of the little children she took care of.
I hope you have enjoyed these weeks ~ sharing with you about Mother Teresa.
Next week will be our last post for Mother Teresa ~
Until next time.
Enjoy your long weekend.
